Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the overall quality of the production including 1st piece sample

approval, NPD sample approval, regular in line inspection according to

sampling plan.

  • Continuous monitoring for improvement in process flow and better

production quality.

  • Prepare a simplified drawing for smooth manufacturing of the new product.
  • Implementing Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Lean Manufacturing in shop floor
  • wherever possible (Ensuring Quality Control & SOE techniques).
  • Maintain reports, documentations for external audit purpose (ISO

9001:2015)

  • Micro-macro level production planning for projects followed by executions
  • Develop & implement manufacturing plan.
  • Manage & allocate workmen & work processes.
  • Programming of CNC and SPM machines
  • Design & Development of new equipment & toolings

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of vernier height gauge, micrometer, Rockwell hardness, visual inspection instruments and many other specialized inspection instruments
  • Hands-on experience with different machine tools and CAD-CAM applications
  • Leading teams of workmen & sound knowledge of engineering design & tooling
  • Experience in programming & implementation of CNCs & SPMs
  • Engage with Internal & External Resources to develop new machines/SPMs, Tooling

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • M.E/ B. Tech or B.E. (preferably in mechanical)
  • Work experience: 5 to 15 years in developing & implementing production processes. new equipment/ technologies at wide/senior level.
  • Sound knowledge of CNC machines & SPMs
