Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lawyer with strong legal research skills to support our firm in case preparation, drafting, and compliance matters. The primary responsibility will be conducting in-depth legal research, analyzing statutes, case laws, regulations, and preparing legal notes and briefs for internal and client use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on case laws, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Summarize findings into clear, concise, and well-structured legal notes, memos, and briefs.
• Assist senior lawyers in case strategy development by providing researched insights.
• Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents as required.
• Stay updated with latest amendments, notifications, and judicial pronouncements.
• Support in drafting petitions, replies, and legal opinions under supervision.
• Maintain an internal knowledge base of researched material for future reference.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of legal databases (Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
• Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Ability to simplify complex legal issues into practical insights.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience in legal research, law firms, or litigation support.
• Good understanding of corporate laws, taxation, or subject-specific expertise.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
