Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in
Kubernetes (EKS/OKD)
and
Azure DevOps
to design, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across complex microservices and data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving delivery automation, observability, and operational excellence across hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    using Azure DevOps (YAML-based), ensuring reliability across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Manage and optimize
    containerized applications
    on
    Kubernetes (EKS/OKD)
    for scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using
    Terraform
    or
    CloudFormation
    , integrating with
    AWS
    and hybrid systems.
  • Collaborate closely with
    Developers, Cloud Architects, and Security teams
    to standardize configurations and deployment workflows.
  • Implement comprehensive
    monitoring, logging, and alerting
    using tools like
    Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Dynatrace
    .
  • Define and enforce
    security controls
    ,
    secret management
    , and
    RBAC
    within Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage
    artifact repositories
    ,
    container registries
    , and
    pipeline templates
    to ensure consistency across multiple projects.
  • Drive
    cost optimization
    ,
    autoscaling
    , and
    disaster recovery
    strategies for production workloads.
  • Contribute to
    DevSecOps initiatives
    and continuous improvement of automation and deployment maturity.

Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Kubernetes (EKS/OKD)
    administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proven expertise in
    Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML)
    , Git branching strategies, and release orchestration.
  • Proficiency in
    Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    Docker
    ,
    Helm
    , and
    GitOps workflows
    (ArgoCD / Flux).

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with
    AWS stack
    – ECR, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch.
  • Experience with
    observability tools
    – ELK, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Exposure to
    secrets management
    – HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Knowledge of
    Blue-Green / Canary deployments

    pipeline security gates

Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience in
    DevOps and automation engineering
    .
  • Minimum 3 years of
    production-grade Kubernetes (EKS/OKD)
    management.
  • Proven track record with
    Azure DevOps pipelines
    and
    cloud-native CI/CD
    architectures.
  • Experience in
    fintech, banking, or other high-availability production systems
    is a plus.
