- Follow-up on Claims:Contacting insurance companies to follow up on pending medical claims.
- Resolve Denials and Errors:Investigating and resolving issues with unpaid or denied claims, appealing denials, and correcting billing errors.
- Payment and Record Keeping:Securing timely payments, reviewing insurance remittance advice for accurate reimbursement, and maintaining detailed records of all communications and actions.
- Collaboration:Working with internal departments, such as billing and coding, to resolve discrepancies.
- Customer Service:Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from patients and other stakeholders.
- Stay Informed:Keeping up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
