KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), proficiency in accounting systems, strong analytical skills, and the motivation to contribute to an accurate, high-quality, and efficient monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting process.
  • Prepare and post recurring, adjusting, accrual, reclassification, and correcting journal entries.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and schedules as needed.
  • Perform bank reconciliations in Blackline and manage cash-related entries.
  • Investigate and resolve variances or discrepancies.
  • Maintain and manage the companys accrual management software, Gappify.
  • Proactively review purchase orders and update Gappify tasks and reconciliation assignments as required.
  • Provide support to other teams across the company, including on special projects

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics required.


• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.


• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion).


• Familiarity with Blackline Checklist and Reconciliation.


• Working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
