Responsibilities:

I. Content Writing (70%)

1) Create engaging written material like blog posts, PR articles, social media posts, etc., reflecting the brand voice.

2) Researching and writing high-quality content like product descriptions, user manuals, website content, etc.

3) Optimising content for search engines using keywords, meta tags and other SEO techniques.

4) Collaborating with other teams like designers and developers to align content with the company's brand.

5) Measuring the content's success by tracking KPIs like website traffic and conversions.

6) Creating and executing a content calendar.

7) Reviewing, editing and proofreading content.

II. Social Media Management (30%)


1) Develop creative and engaging social media strategies and content distribution plans.

2) Work closely with the graphic designer for rich content creation.

3) Research and evaluate the latest techniques to evolve continuously with the ways of measuring social media activity.

4) Online Reputation management: Respond to questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner

5) Competition Analysis.

6) Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates) and new trends in the market.



Requirements

Experience and skills required:

  1. Bachelor or Diploma in English or professional level content writing skills in English language (knowledge of one or more additional languages like, Telugu / Hindi / Marathi / Malayalam, will be beneficial).
  2. Minimum 2.5 yrs of proven content writing or copywriting/social media managing experience.
  3. Working knowledge of content/social media management systems.
  4. Proficient with writing and editing tools.
  5. Working knowledge of graphics and video editing is an added advantage.
  6. Ability to deliver creative Blog, article, press release and web content.
  7. Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
