. Our team at Vaayuneer sciences is focused on developing a novel, scalable process to generate
solid hydrogen carriers (a renewable energy source) from microalgae.
This breakthrough technology is poised to significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and redefine sustainable energy carriers.

The selected candidate will work directly with the Vaayuneer Sciences team and employee benefits managed by ITEL.

Role Description

  1. Design, set up, and operate pilot-scale processes
    for microalgae biomass utilization, conversion, and downstream processing (e.g., extraction, refining, drying).
  2. Experimentation & Data Analysis:
    Run systematic scale-up experiments, collect and analyze process data and prepare comprehensive technical reports to guide path decisions.
  3. Scale-Up & Collaboration:
    Collaborate closely with R&D Scientists to translate lab-scale findings into reliable, scalable, and economical engineering designs.
  4. Process Optimization & Safety:
    Troubleshoot process issues and ensure safe, efficient plant operations
  5. Documentation & Compliance:
    Develop and maintain detailed
    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),
    maintain detailed records, and communicate results clearly

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, or related science/engineering discipline.
  2. Hands-on experience or strong academic exposure to pilot scale/pilot plant operations (can include academic projects, internships, or industry).
  3. A solid foundation in biomass, fermentation, or bioconversion technologies is desirable.
  4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  5. Eager to work in a collaborative environment and translate scientific concepts into practical solutions.
