Job Title: Consultant Gastroenterologist (DM)

Location: Subharti Medical College & Hospital, Meerut

Hospital Strength: 1010-bedded multi-specialty teaching hospital

Position Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished and skilled DM Gastroenterologist to strengthen our Gastroenterology Department. The role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary diseases, performing advanced endoscopic procedures, and contributing to academics and research within a robust teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage complex GI conditions: GI bleeds, IBD, liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, and hepatobiliary disorders.

Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, sigmoidoscopy, polypectomy, and therapeutic endoscopic interventions.

Interpret advanced GI imaging and biopsy reports, and guide patient management accordingly.

Provide consultation and critical care support for GI emergencies.

Collaborate with surgical teams for gastroenterology-related operative cases.

Engage in teaching and training of postgraduates, residents, and medical students.

Participate in CMEs, academic sessions, and clinical case discussions.

Ensure compliance with NABH and other clinical protocols for patient safety and quality care.

Contribute to departmental research and publications in reputed journals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: DM/DNB in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 0-10 years post-DM .

Skills: Advanced endoscopy, ERCP, GI emergency management, strong diagnostic skills, academic aptitude.
