About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and result-driven Admissions Counselor to be a key part of our student admissions team at Vidyashilp Academy. This role involves engaging with prospective parents, effectively communicating our schools philosophy and offerings, and guiding them through the admissions process — both over the phone and in person.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, has a consultative approach, and is capable of understanding and addressing parents' needs to ensure a smooth and welcoming admissions experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and achieve individual admission targets.
  • Proactively contact and follow up with prospective parents via calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Present and explain Vidyashilp Academy's unique educational approach, facilities, and culture.
  • Understand parents' requirements and provide tailored guidance and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead databases.
  • Handle parent queries, concerns, and grievances with patience and professionalism.
  • Keep detailed records of interactions and follow-ups.
  • Stay informed about the education market and competitor offerings to effectively position the school.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inside sales, admissions, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong track record of achieving admission/sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident, empathetic, and approachable personality.
  • Ability to understand and convey the unique strengths and values of Vidyashilp Academy.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is a plus.
