Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems and related security equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of surveillance systems, cabling, and networking, along with troubleshooting abilities to ensure smooth operation of security infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install, configure, and test CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment.
  • Perform cabling, wiring, and connectivity for CCTV and surveillance systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty cameras, wiring issues, and recording/storage devices.
  • Ensure optimal performance of surveillance systems by monitoring and upgrading hardware/software as required.
  • Work with clients to understand requirements and provide appropriate CCTV solutions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of installations, service, and repairs.
  • Follow safety standards, company policies, and industry best practices.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma/ITI/Certification in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, and access control systems.
  • Familiarity with networking basics (LAN, WAN, IP configuration).
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Physical fitness to handle fieldwork, cabling, and equipment installation.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred, if site visits are required).
