Rubber Technologist

Role & responsibilities

• Rubber Compound Testing & Validation:
  
  Conduct tests to validate and approve rubber compounds for production, ensuring compliance with defined specifications.
• New Compound Testing:
  
  Perform laboratory tests on new rubber compounds to confirm their suitability for production use.
• Chemical Approval & Titration Testing:
  
  Carry out titration tests to approve incoming chemicals, maintaining accurate records and documentation in the Rubber Laboratory.
• Process Monitoring:
  
  Conduct in-process chemical concentration checks, particularly for the phosphating process, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Reverse Engineering & Material Identification:
  
  Support reverse engineering activities by identifying material types used in new product development.
• New Product Development:
  
  Actively participate in new product development initiatives, contributing to material validation and laboratory support.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping:
  
  Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all tests, validations, and chemical analyses in accordance with internal and industry standards
