Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant specializing in Direct Taxation (Oman/UAE taxation). The position is located in Pune. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing tax returns, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and collaborating on financial statement reviews. Additional responsibilities include staying updated on Oman and UAE tax laws, providing guidance on tax-related matters, and supporting audits and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and solid knowledge of Tax regulations
  • Experience working with Financial Statements and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong Accounting skills, including familiarity with relevant tools and standards
  • Ability to interpret and apply Oman/UAE tax laws effectively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as semi-qualified CA/CMA are preferred
  • Prior experience in direct taxation in the Middle East is a strong advantage
