Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage blood-related disorders including anemia, clotting disorders, leukemias, lymphomas, and other hematological conditions.
• Conduct bone marrow biopsies, transfusion management, and advanced haematology investigations.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and other medical specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise laboratory services ensuring accuracy and quality in haematology testing.
• Participate in clinical audits, academic discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Counsel patients and families regarding treatment and long-term care.

Qualifications

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Pathology/Medicine with specialization in Haematology (or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Valid registration with Medical Council.
• Proven experience in managing hematological disorders.
• Excellent communication, clinical, and patient-care skills.
