About the Role

Solenis GSS India is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our global AI & Data Science team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about Generative AI, Machine Learning, and enterprise data platforms, delivering solutions across supply chain, commercial, and customer experience functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EDA and generate actionable insights from structured & unstructured data.
  • Build, train, and deploy ML/AI models; apply feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.
  • Design & implement Generative AI solutions (document intelligence, conversational AI, intelligent agents).
  • Work with LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines.
  • Partner with data engineers to build & optimize data pipelines (Snowflake, Databricks, SAP).
  • Create dashboards & reports using Power BI, Streamlit, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
  • Deploy models with MLOps (MLflow, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Ensure AI governance, data privacy compliance, and ethical AI practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science solutions with business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 510 years of enterprise Data Science experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Hands-on with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs, LlamaIndex, RAG).
  • Expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, SAP data integrations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AgentForce, Google AgentSpace, Snowflake Cortex AI, Document AI.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, data modeling, ML algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Master's/PhD in Machine Learning, AI, or Applied Mathematics preferred.
