Our FCE-Engineering Division is looking for a System Engineering COE Leader to be based at Pune India.

The System Engineering CoE Leader is responsible for leading Engineering activities related to System requirements, System architecture, Software Requirements and Software Architecture. She/he leads system & software design for SW product or platform, for RFQ or Awarded products. In detail needs to establish detailed System requirements, software requirements, System nd Software architectural design to enable strong collaboration with software development activities like low level design, code construction, unit testing, code reviews, static analysis and to ensure system engineering strictly follows ASPICE level2/level3 (SYS.2, SYS.3, SWE.1 & SWE.2) compliance and deliver software of high quality keeping program QCD KPI's intact.

Software SoC Leader scope include:

Technical hands on in end-to-end System Requirement, System Architecture, software requirements and Software architecture for various infotainment & cockpit OEM projects & global platform development.

Handling experience of system engineering team size of 30+ core R&D development

Hiring of cockpit software critical skills

Global team collaboration experience with US, Europe, Japan and China

Drive common platform system & software architecture to develop various subsystems for cockpit experience product includes infotainment, display, Cluster products.

Hands-on technical expertise in infotainment, cockpit and cluster software features like Base software, middleware, connectivity, Vehicle Network & Diagnostic, application, HMI, Cloud development.

Coaching and technical mentoring

Proactive risk management in identifying dependencies

Define & lead technical competency development for continuous skill enhancement

Define & lead technology roadmap for system engineering teams with cockpit experience product portfolio

Define and drive engineering KPI's to bring efficiency and productivity improvement actions to increase systems capability.

Define and lead "Software Factory" model incorporate required checks and balance to drive consistent and first-time right software deliveries,

Drive ASPICE Level 2 & Level 3 process adherence in system software development

Technical solutions identification at system level.

Define & lead workload planning for the team and ensure adequate staffing for the customer deliveries

System & Software design compliancy with functional safety & cybersecurity regulation

Define cost optimization by design, co-design and innovation.

SW Risk analysis (DFMEA or other).

Organizes task forces and participates actively in critical issue on System Requirement/Sys Architecture, SW Requirements, Architecture to solve technical problems and propose corrective actions

Tracking, monitoring and reporting project progress

Propose relevant technical solutions for future system and software Architecture.

Communicates with peer in the & system & software entity and shares best business practices across FCE regional R&D center

Fully documented to Faurecia standards and SPICE Level 3

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum education level:

Master's degree in Computer Science/ Electronics / Software engineering

Proficient in English

Experience:

18+ years of experience in automotive area in Tiers 1 in System & Software Engineering department for cockpit electronics

Successful launch of several products in mass production

Competencies:

Must have:

Experience in Architecture (IVI, Display, Cockpit, Cluster) based on RTOS, Linux and Android.

Experience in working with CPU, GPU & TPU based architecture.

Experience in working on Multicore Architectures for Telechip, QUALCOMM, NVIDIA (Jetson-AGX, NX, Xavier etc.), TI (TDA4x, TDA3x etc.).

Must have a strong over-sea profile (can be Indian national with strong over-sea infotainment systems experience)

Must have handled RFQs from Software perspective.

Experience in screen projection technologies Carplay, Android Auto, Baidu Carlife, Miracast, Mirrorlink etc.

Experience in Linux BSP and Kernel development.

Experience in working with Android libraries for Multimedia, Graphics, Security etc.

Experience in Voice Recognition application based on Alexa and native solutions.

Experience in Audio Calibration, Diagnostics, tunning, and audio post processing using DSP etc.

• Qualcomm Audio Framework for Integrity and Android is a plus
• Qualcomm Audio DSP Framework is a plus

Experience in Functional Safety (ISO

Experience in working with Hypervisor solutions.

Experience in AUTOSAR will be plus.
