Position Summary:

The marketing manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales and profit targets. The role requires strong technical understanding of castings and foundry processes, along with strategic marketing and negotiation skills to expand the domestic and export customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

  • Identify and develop new customers in automotive, tractor, and industrial casting segments.
  • Explore export opportunities and build connections with overseas OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals and quotations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and price benchmarking.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams to meet customer delivery and quality expectations.
  • Handle customer complaints and quality issues, and ensure quick resolution through cross-functional teams.

3. Sales & Marketing Operations

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Forecast sales and plan production requirements with operations.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, credit terms, and customer agreements.
  • Monitor order booking, dispatch performance, and customer payment follow-ups.

4. Technical Coordination

  • Work with the design and production teams to support new product development (NPD).
  • Interpret customer drawings and specifications, and assist in tooling or pattern development discussions.
  • Participate in customer audits, PPAP, and sample approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering.
  • 815 years of experience in marketing or business development in a casting foundry or related metal components industry.
  • Strong understanding of ferrous casting processes (SG Iron, CI castings) and machining requirements.
  • Proven track record in OEM and Tier-1 customer handling.
