We are seeking a passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic barista who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is customer-focused to join our team at Scylla Luxury Spa & Resort, Yermal. As the face of our café, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and offer menu recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and espresso machines with care and precision.
• Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system, adhering to all cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting workstation and seating area throughout your shift, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Educate customers about our menu offerings, coffee blends, and brewing techniques.
• Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the coffee industry.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
