We're Hiring: Mobile App Developer Summary of the Role

We're building a smart expense-sharing app that makes it simple for friends, families, and groups to track, split, and settle expenses. Think with a modern twist — seamless design, real-time sync, secure payments, and multi-platform support.

As a Mobile App Developer, you'll be responsible for developing a cross-platform application (iOS & Android) using Flutter. Success in this role means delivering an intuitive, secure, and reliable app that users love to use for managing group finances.

This role directly contributes to our mission of making group expense management transparent, fair, and hassle-free.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mobile applications using Flutter & Dart for iOS and Android.
  • Implement core features such as:
  • Group expense tracking and balance management
  • Real-time data sync across devices
  • User authentication & account management
  • Secure payment integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or bank APIs)
  • Notifications and reminders for settlements
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver user-friendly UI/UX.
  • Ensure the app follows best practices in architecture, performance optimization, and data security.
  • Debug, test, and deploy app updates while maintaining high code quality.
  • Research and integrate third-party APIs where needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Flutter and Dart.
  • Hands-on experience in building financial apps, fintech products, or apps involving payment systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, Firebase, or cloud databases.
  • Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of state management techniques (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.).
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
