IB Trained Teachers Early Years, Lower PYP & Upper PYP

Programme: International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP)

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate, qualified, and IB-trained educators to join our Primary Years Programme team across Early Years, Lower PYP, and Upper PYP. The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong inquiry-based teaching practices, a commitment to holistic student development, and alignment with the IB philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and assess inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB-PYP framework.
  • Deliver engaging transdisciplinary units of inquiry across subject areas.
  • Cater to developmental needs of students in Early Years, Lower PYP, or Upper PYP as assigned.
  • Foster students' academic, social, emotional, and personal growth.
  • Use formative and summative assessment strategies as per IB guidelines.
  • Maintain student portfolios, documentation, and assessment records.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, PYP Coordinator, and school leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in IB planning, reflection meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Support PYP Exhibition and other programme-specific initiatives (Upper PYP, where applicable).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or relevant field.
  • IB-PYP training or certification is mandatory.

  • Minimum experience:

  • Early Years: 2–3 years

  • Lower PYP: 2–4 years

  • Upper PYP: 3–5 years

  • Experience in international/IB schools preferred.
