Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Delhi, India, for a Gem Crafter. The Gem Crafter will design, cut, polish, and shape gemstones to align with high-quality standards. Responsibilities include selecting and assessing raw materials, employing specialized tools for precise cutting, and collaborating with designers to create unique pieces. The role also encompasses ensuring that finished products match design specifications and maintaining working equipment to optimize craftsmanship quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in gemstone cutting, shaping, polishing, and enhancing their natural beauty
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for high-precision craftsmanship
• Experience in working with different tools and techniques specific to gem crafting
• Good understanding of gemstones, their structures, and physical properties
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with designers and team members
• Prior experience in gem crafting or jewelry design is preferred
• A degree or certification in Gemology or related fields will be an added advantage
