The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Monitoring Specialist with expertise in Zabbix 7.2 and advanced monitoring solutions. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive monitoring systems while providing leadership and mentorship to our monitoring team.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and implement advanced Zabbix monitoring solutions and optimize system performance
• Design custom monitoring templates, dashboards, and automated alerting systems
• Integrate Zabbix with third-party tools and develop automation scripts using Python, Bash
• Oversee junior developers and provide mentorship on Zabbix best practices
• Create comprehensive documentation and generate monitoring reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with IT teams to align monitoring strategies with business objectives
• Stay current with Zabbix updates and propose system enhancements

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Zabbix (version 7.2 or later)

  • Experience in leadership, mentoring, or team coordination roles

  • Proficiency in SQL databases, network protocols (HTTP, SNMP, TCP/IP), and data visualization

  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs)

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Zabbix certification(s) or relevant industry certifications

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform) and cloud monitoring solutions

  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and containerized environments
