Job Overview:

Coronis Ajuba is looking for an experienced Medical Coding Surgery Trainer to join our team. This role is key to maintaining coding accuracy, compliance, and continuous team development.

Location: Chennai (Work from Office)

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Job Type: Full-Time

Surgery Quality Analyst or Auditor can also Apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training for surgical coding (1 to 6 Series).
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials.
  • Audit coded records and provide feedback.
  • Stay updated with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS guidelines.
  • Mentor and support coders for performance improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of medical coding experience, specifically in surgery.
  • Certified coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS.
  • Experience in 1 to 6 Series coding.
  • Prior experience in training/mentoring is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and coding tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and in teams.
