ECommerce Sales Executive Agrifood & Dairy Business

Position: ECommerce Sales Executive

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Type: Full-time

Purpose

To support the ECommerce Sales Manager in executing daily operational, promotional, and analytical activities across all online marketplaces and quick commerce platforms, ensuring smooth coordination, optimized listings, and effective execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

KRAs, Brief Descriptions, and Responsibilities

KRA 1: Marketplace Operations & Account Management

Brief: Ensure seamless daily operations across marketplaces by managing listings, orders, and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing seller accounts on Amazon, Flipkart, BlinkIt, Zepto, and other platforms.
  • Upload and update product listings, SKUs, descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Monitor order flow, returns, and ensure issue resolution through platform dashboards.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for timely order dispatch and inventory sync.
  • Ensure listings comply with platform policies and brand guidelines.

KRA 2: Campaigns, Promotions & Offers Execution

Brief: Support in implementing and monitoring platform-specific promotional and advertising activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute sponsored ad campaigns as directed by the ECommerce Manager.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams for banner creatives, ad visuals, and product images.
  • Upload and activate platform deals, festive campaigns, and discount offers.
  • Track and report on campaign status, click-through rates, and sales performance.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure timely execution of all marketing activities.

KRA 3: Product Content, Optimization & Brand Presentation

Brief: Maintain accurate, SEO-friendly product listings to enhance discoverability and conversions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Update product details, keywords, and A+ content based on manager's direction.
  • Conduct basic keyword research for optimization of titles and descriptions.
  • Coordinate with the content and design teams to update product images and infographics.
  • Audit listings periodically to identify errors, duplications, or missing data.
  • Maintain brand store pages and ensure consistent look & feel across platforms.

KRA 4: Analytics, Reports & Performance Tracking

Brief: Generate and maintain reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and organize daily/weekly marketplace data (sales, returns, ad spend, traffic).
  • Prepare Excel-based dashboards and performance summaries.
  • Track competitor pricing and promotional activity.
  • Assist the ECommerce Manager in generating insights for business reviews.
  • Maintain repository of reports and documents for internal reference.

KRA 5: Coordination & Administrative Support

Brief: Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth e-commerce operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with marketing, finance, and logistics for order, invoice, and campaign-related activities.
  • Follow up with platform representatives for issue resolution or updates.
  • Support in onboarding new SKUs or new platforms under the manager's guidance.
  • Manage filing and documentation for marketplace agreements, invoices, and reports.
  • Support internal reviews and team meetings with updated data and presentations.

Additional Key Responsibilities

  • Support inventory reconciliation and returns management.
  • Assist in new product launch activities across e-commerce platforms.
  • Maintain platform-wise contact directories and SOP documentation.
  • Stay updated on new marketplace features, dashboards, and policy updates.
  • Uphold brand representation and professionalism in all platform communications.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or marketplace support roles.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and other platform dashboards.
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic analytics.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, process-driven, strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Preference: Experience in FMCG or Dairy/Food category product listings will be an advantage.
