Frontend Developer

Position Summary:

The Frontend Developer is responsible for ensuring that all the visible parts of the application are functioning properly and can be properly accessed. The Frontend Developer will take ownership of design, implementation and support and value good engineering practices like design documentation, unit testing, continuous integration and code reviews.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties of the position include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

• Designs and develops applications across multiple modules using frontend technologies and integrating with API services.

• Write optimal and efficient code using best patterns and practices of front-end development.

• Confirm program operation by coordinating with colleagues to conduct necessary tests, while debugging and modifying program sequence and/or code.

• Perform scheduled maintenance as required and support the existing application.

• Arrange project requirements in programming sequence; provide estimations on deliverables using knowledge of computer capabilities, the subject matter, programming language, and logic.

Education/Experience:

An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in Angular. Must have extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, Bootstrap, NGRX, and RXJS. Must have a working knowledge of DevOps processes. Must have experience with writing unit tests with relevant technologies for the front end. Must have experience integrating API with the front end. Experience with Micro frontend would be a plus. Must have ability to convert Figma designs to workable solutions .

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write moderately complex correspondence. Ability to effectively converse and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide on all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percents.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret feedback from non-skilled technical system users to uncover the source of problems and persistence to efficiently provide solutions. Extreme attention to detail is required to ensure proper documentation of facts. Ability to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints, maintaining the security of data, competing priorities of high significance to the successful function of the department.

Computer Skills:

A significant comfort level in using accounting software and a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office products, web browsers, and CRM tools.
