ABOUT TASK SOURCE

Task Source is a fast-growing organization committed to delivering excellence in business process solutions and financial management services. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update accounting records in Tally ERP and Excel.
  • Prepare and manage General Ledger, Trial Balance, and Bank Reconciliation Statements.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (Vendor Accounts) and Accounts Receivable (Client Accounts) efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate GST filing, TDS deductions, and timely completion of returns processes.
  • Prepare monthly closing entries and assist in financial reporting.
  • Support in audit preparation and ensure compliance with statutory and internal audit requirements.
  • Reconcile invoices, payments, and receipts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Maintain proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation purposes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and Return Filing Processes.
  • Solid grasp of accounting concepts including Ledgers, Trial Balance, and Reconciliations.
  • Experience in Monthly Financial Closings and Audit Support.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar role).
  • Software Proficiency: Tally ERP, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and basic understanding of accounting automation tools.
