Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager specializing in 1065 tax filings with a focus on Operating Partnerships and Real Estate. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling U.S. tax compliance, particularly within Form 1065, and will be expected to lead a team, manage client engagements, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review U.S. federal and state tax compliance for partnerships (Form 1065), with a specialization in real estate and operating partnerships.
  • Coordinate and lead a team of tax professionals, ensuring timely delivery and quality control of tax filings.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships through effective communication and advisory support.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and keep abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize workflow and improve tax processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Specialization: U.S. Taxation, Form 1065, Real Estate Partnerships.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant U.S. tax experience, with at least 5 years directly related to Form 1065.
  • Prior experience in managing teams and leading engagements in a public accounting or consulting environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and IRS tax code.
  • Expertise in partnership taxation and real estate sector taxation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with tax software and tools.
