We are seeking a skilled Lead SAP BW ABAP Developer to join our team and lead the development and maintenance of our SAP BW solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BW development using ABAP, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers. This role will involve collaborating closely with functional teams, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Lead a team of SAP BW ABAP developers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of development efforts with business objectives.

Solution Design and Development:

  • Design and implement SAP BW solutions including data modeling, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using ABAP.
  • Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, function modules, and enhancements to support SAP BW functionalities.
  • Perform data analysis and provide recommendations for data integration and optimization.

Performance Optimization:

  • Identify and resolve performance issues in SAP BW applications through performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in ABAP development.

Documentation and Support:

  • Create technical specifications, documentation, and user guides for developed solutions.
  • Provide support for SAP BW applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing resolutions in a timely manner.
