Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
AWS Cloud Security Engineer
to join a high-impact engagement and contribute from
Day 1
. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in
AWS security, cloud governance, and Policy-as-Code
, who can help design, implement, and enforce robust cloud security controls across enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and enforce
    cloud security policies
    across AWS environments
  • Develop and manage
    Policy-as-Code
    using Terraform Sentinel and OPA Gatekeeper
  • Secure AWS workloads following best practices across IAM, network, data, and cloud layers
  • Integrate and automate
    security controls within CI/CD pipelines
    using GitHub
  • Conduct cloud security assessments and recommend
    risk remediation strategies
  • Ensure adherence to
    organizational, industry, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Collaborate closely with
    DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering teams
    to embed
    security by design


Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in
    AWS / Cloud Security Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    AWS security services and frameworks
  • Proven expertise in
    Terraform Sentinel and OPA Gatekeeper
  • Experience securing
    CI/CD pipelines
    , especially using GitHub
  • Solid understanding of
    cloud governance, risk management, and compliance


Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working in
    multi-account AWS environments
  • Exposure to
    DevSecOps practices
  • AWS Security Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
