Job Purpose:

• Summarizes the main points of the job description which may include key responsibilities, functions, and duties

. To carry out all analysis required to ensure Quality Control & Assurance of raw materials, intermediates, final products , Catalysts and chemicals, utilities and effluents

Major Activities/ Tasks

• The tasks under Key Responsibility that the Job holder is suppose to perform to achieve the business goals
• Analysis for all raw materials, final products, intermediates, brought-out chemicals & catalyst , utilities and effluent streams , for ensuring adherence to quality specs.
• PM and Calibration of all Laboratory equipments
• Good Housekeeping
• Laboratory Safety, health and Environment

• Documentation and record keeping of systems like ISO 9K , 14K, 18K, & NABL,etc

• Qualitative Analysis of raw material, intermediate gas samples, final products, waste, rejected, effluent

• Reagent storage and preparation.
• Troubleshooting in analytical problems,
• Follow up for effective maintenance program for the lab instruments and ensure their accuracy and availability
• To communicate and feed in SAP various QA/QC results for timely availability to all concerned
• following EHS & QS objectives of the department
• Attend various training to acquire various skills related to process and utilities.

Education Qualifications / Background

• State minimum qualification required by the Job Holder to work effectively on this position
• B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry with Analytical experience

Relevant and Total Years of Experience

• Mention years of experience required for the job
• Elaborate more of the relevance / type of the job experience required by the role
• Minimum 06 years working experience in Quality Control in a large modern Industrial Chemicals, Ammonia & Fertiliser sector.
• Experience on Analytical Instrumentation like GC, AAS, Spectrophotometer

Technical/Functional Expertise

• Stare minimum proficiency required on specific technical or functional skills required for the Job Role
• Knowledge of Inorganic & organic chemistry & process technologies
• Knowledge In NABL /GLP
• Knowledge of Lab analytical Instruments and instrumental analysis
• Knowledge in Lab Safety and Environment protection, chemical compatibility
• Sound Knowledge of Gas Analysis, Water Chemistry
• Knowledge in ISO 9K,14K,18K &IMS
• Basic computer skills
