Overview We are seeking a skilled and security-focused DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and drive secure software development practices. This role will be instrumental in integrating security into every phase of the development lifecycle, ensuring robust protection of applications, infrastructure, and endpoints. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) using tools like SonarCloud and Burp Suite.
• Perform vulnerability management and threat monitoring using Alert Logic or equivalent SIEM/IDS platforms.
• Evaluate and implement browser isolation and secure browsing solutions such as or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to align endpoint and identity protection strategies with DevSecOps practices.
• Integrate email security solutions (e.g., Proofpoint) into centralized dashboards for phishing protection and reporting. Hands-on Experience With
• SonarCloud / SonarQube – Static code analysis and CI/CD integration.
• Burp Suite – Web application security and penetration testing.
• Alert Logic, or similar platforms like Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Rapid7.
• or comparable browser security / endpoint isolation solutions. Strong Understanding Of
• OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and secure coding principles.
• Secure SDLC practices and their integration into DevOps pipelines.
• Cloud security concepts across AWS and Azure.
• Network security, VPNs, and identity management fundamentals. Enterprise Security Integration
• Work closely with teams managing Microsoft Security and Intune to ensure endpoint and identity protection are embedded in DevSecOps workflows.
• Coordinate with email security platforms like Proofpoint to enhance phishing protection and integrate security insights into unified dashboards. Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• years of experience in DevSecOps, Application Security, or related roles.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, AWS/Azure Security Specialty) are a plus. Preferred Skills
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
