About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist / Business Analyst with hands-on expertise in WERCS (Worldwide Environmental and Regulatory Compliance Solutions) and strong PMO / financial management experience to support our Lab Solutions Tower.
The ideal candidate combines regulatory systems knowledge with business acumen, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and financial governance across digital and laboratory systems.
Key Responsibilities
EHS / WERCS System Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and optimize WERCS software to ensure global regulatory and chemical compliance.
- Support SDS authoring, product registration, and hazard communication processes.
- Apply global regulations such as EU CLP, US OSHA, and Canadian WHMIS for accurate classification and labeling.
- Partner with IT, Quality, and Regulatory teams to align WERCS with enterprise systems (ERP/PLM).
- Participate in SDLC activities (requirements, validation, testing, release) within a SAFe/Agile framework.
PMO / Lab Solutions Responsibilities
- Provide project and financial management support for Lab Solutions Opex and projects.
- Prepare forecasts, manage purchase orders, and handle monthly accruals, reclasses, and variance reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with governance and reporting standards.
- Identify and escalate financial risks or unusual trends for corrective action.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Digital, Finance, and Operations to drive transparency and control.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in WERCS software and its implementation within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
- Expertise in EHS compliance, SDS authoring, and COTS software configuration.
- Proficiency in project financial management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Jira, Jira Align, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access).
- Understanding of Agile / SAFe methodology and SDLC documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional, global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Agile (SAFe) Certification.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Prior experience in UL Solutions – WERCS, pharmaceutical digital labs, or regulatory compliance systems.
