Technical Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong ability to understand business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement complex integrations.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Java and System Integration, with 2–3 years in MuleSoft (good to have).
  • Proven team lead experience – able to guide and drive the team toward expected outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end application architecture; able to provide technical suggestions and insights.
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of user stories for self and team members.
  • Actively engage to understand customer expectations and work with the team to mitigate risks.
  • Review and evaluate technical designs and processes, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure high-quality, on-time deliverables by enforcing best practices and development standards.
  • Mentor, coach, and guide team members.
  • Participate in discussions, technical reviews, and risk assessments — proactively ask questions and think about the bigger picture.
  • Deep understanding of project objectives, activities, and risks; accountable for successful delivery.
  • Collaborate to solve problems, bridge communication gaps, and ensure timely updates on blockers or risks.
  • Ability to implement APIs based on business requirements and follow API-led connectivity principles.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012 or above, including building stored procedures and applying relational database concepts.
  • Experience working with Git for version control.

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience developing MuleSoft APIs based on business needs.
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft's Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, etc.).
  • Experience creating RAML specifications as API contracts for development.
  • Ability to write and implement DataWeave scripts.
  • Experience deploying APIs to CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-prem workers.
  • Experience creating/managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Portal and Azure DevOps tools.
