Key Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems to process cash, card, and digital payments accurately
- Scan items, apply discounts, and ensure correct pricing and quantity
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service at checkout
- Handle refunds, exchanges, and resolve billing discrepancies professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout station
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report discrepancies
- Promote loyalty programs, seasonal offers, and upsell relevant products
- Coordinate with floor staff for price checks and stock queries
- Follow safety, hygiene, and anti-theft protocols
