Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise junior engineers, CAD technicians, and site staff; provide mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Ensure all designs meet local regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
  • Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, and project documentation.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Support tendering and contract administration activities.
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance on all project sites.
