Summary of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Developer with hands-on experience in building end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, analytics, and performance tuning, with a passion for driving digital transformation through innovative data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Fabric components like OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Pipelines.
  • Design and optimize data models and medallion architecture for analytics and reporting.
  • Utilize SQL (T-SQL), PySpark/Python, and DAX to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
  • Build and manage Git-based CI/CD and deployment pipelines for smooth integration and delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to security and governance best practices, including RLS/OLS and data sensitivity policies.
  • Conduct performance tuning for Direct Lake and Import processes, optimizing partitions and queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data flows and reporting capabilities across the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Fabric features and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.
  • Assist in documenting processes and providing training to end-users on best practices and system usage.
Required QualificationsMust-Have
  • 6-9 years of overall experience, with at least 2+ years relevant to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL), PySpark/Python, and DAX.
  • Thorough understanding of Delta Lake concepts including schema evolution and ACID transactions.
  • Experience designing medallion architecture and dimensional data models.
  • Proficient in implementing Git-based CI/CD pipelines and deployment using DevOps/GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of security and governance practices, including workspace roles and capacity management.
Nice-to-Have
  • Familiarity with performance tuning techniques specific to Direct Lake and Import scenarios.
  • Experience in developing semantic models and working with Power BI for data visualization.
  • Understanding of data sensitivity and workplace governance requirements.
