Job Description

  • Minimum 15 years' experience inPlant Layout & Piping Engineering, having extensive experience in EPCenvironment (Biogas plants/Power/Oil & Gas preferred)

  • B.E./B.Tech. inMechanical

KeyResponsibilities

  • Lead Plant Layout & PipingEngineering for various Biogas plants being executed on an EPC basis.
  • Manage & prepare Plot Plans,Equipment Layouts & Piping Layouts in an EPC environment.
  • Review various types of Vendor GADrawings.
  • Manage & Prepare /reconcile Billof Materials of all piping systems.
  • Work on ERP systems, prepare/approve ECOs for Pipes & Fittings.
  • Understand Piping MaterialSpecifications.
  • Work on the AutoCAD environment.
  • Manage the work of 4-5 draftsmen/junior Engineers for at least 3 years.
  • Manage internal or outsourced PlantLayout & Piping Engineering.

  • Effective leadership, issueresolution, and risk management skills.

TechnicalCompetencies

  • Expertise in Equipment & PipingLayouts.
  • Ability to generate cost-effectiveEngineering output.
  • Ability to understand PFDs,P&IDs, Civil drawings, Electrical Layout Drawings, etc.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes,standards (ASME, API, ISO), and safety/environmental regulations for EPCprojects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software:Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Plant 3D/ other 3D environments.
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork (Piping,Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation).
