Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation:Safely drive the delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Navigation:Use GPS and other routing systems to follow assigned routes efficiently and adhere to delivery schedules.
  • Loading/Unloading:Pack and load products onto the vehicle and then unload them at customer locations.
  • Order Verification:Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • Customer Service:Interact with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, handle complaints, and obtain signatures.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate delivery logs and prepare any necessary reports or documents.
  • Payment Collection:Accept payments from customers for delivered products.
  • Vehicle Maintenance:Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or maintenance needs.
  • Communication:Maintain ongoing communication with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
