About the Hiring Company

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing Digital Marketing & Development Agency offering services across website design, development, SEO, content marketing, social media, and paid campaigns. They are results-driven, innovative, and work with clients across industries and geographies.

They are now looking to onboard an SEO intern who has a good understanding of basic SEO concepts and is eager to learn advanced and practical SEO through hands-on training.

Role Overview

The SEO Intern will support the SEO team in day-to-day tasks related to on-page SEO, basic off-page activities, keyword research, content optimization, and website audits. The role is designed for someone who is technically sound with fundamentals and wants to build a long-term career in SEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting basic keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Support with on-page SEO tasks (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content optimization).
• Help identify and fix basic technical SEO issues using standard tools (training provided).
• Participate in off-page SEO activities such as link submission, citations, and outreach support.
• Assist with local SEO tasks (Google Business Profile updates, citations).
• Support team in preparing SEO reports and performance summaries.
• Stay updated on SEO basics and follow guidelines provided by the senior SEO team.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, keyword research).
• Comfort using or learning SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and others.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow structured processes.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus (not mandatory).
• Minimum availability of 6 months.
