We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fund Specialist

Business: Intl Wealth & Premier Banking

Principal responsibilities 

Ensuring the product offering is managed effectively across retail wealth and private bank platforms (fund setups, new funds being introduced, communicating any change in status of funds, providing product descriptions/investment philosophy. Communicate in a timely and investment relevant manner, writing marketing materials, general client collateral as well as internal fund update presentations.  Being able to articulate the house view on Funds and provide commentary where relevant is essential.  Perform responsibilities with integrity and high standards of ethics, complying fully with the Compliance Policy as well as with both the spirit and letter of the law, rules and practices that govern the HSBC Group globally.

External - Qualifications

A good understanding of financial investment products and ideally fundsHigh level of curiosity and interest in investment subjectsA demonstrable track record of driving results while maintaining high global standardsA strong ability to work in a team environment, adapt to an entrepreneurial group and to think and act independently.Excellent oral and written skills of English is a pre-requisite with other languages an additional benefitWell organised and ability to prioritise a multitude of tasksProficiency with Excel, Powerpoint and other system applications strongly preferredBachelor's degree with a focus in Finance, Economic, Accounting or related fields a benefit
