Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Coordination
• Act as a single point of contact between GEMS and two key vendors for tyre inflators and compressors.
• Coordinate for spare parts availability, warranty approvals, site visits, and technical escalations.
• Track and follow up on pending service calls, replacements, and technical clarifications from vendors.
• Field Troubleshooting & Technical Assistance
• Support GEMS field engineers in diagnosing and resolving faults related to:
• Digital tyre inflators (electrical & electronic faults)
• Air compressors (motor, pressure switch, relay, electrical panel)
• Display issues, pressure accuracy problems, auto cut-off problems
• Wiring, earthing, overloading, and sensor failures
• Conduct basic repair, adjustments, calibration checks, and verification.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting via phone or remote guidance to minimize downtime.
• Pre-Installation Support
• Coordinate with customers to gather pre-installation requirements,through video calls/photos, including:
• Electrical supply readiness (phase, voltage, earthing)
• Foundation/space requirement for compressor/tyre inflator
• Air pipeline connection, fitting checks, safety clearances
• Site environment suitability (dust, moisture, ventilation)
• Share checklists with customers and ensure readiness before dispatch/installation.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and update daily service reports and follow-up trackers.
• Maintain database of installed equipment, warranty status, and service history.
• Escalate recurring issues with root cause details for vendor/engineering analysis.
• Training & Customer Interaction
• Assist in on-site customer training on basic operation and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain professional communication and ensure customer satisfaction.

ITI with experience in electrical works
