We are looking for a freelance Physics Proofreader with a strong eye for detail to support the quality review of academic content for K12 students following the CBSE and ICSE/ISC curricula. The proofreader will be responsible for reviewing, correcting, and refining Physics content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with respective board guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and fact-check Physics content for Grades K12 based on CBSE and ICSE/ISC syllabi.
  • Ensure the correctness of scientific concepts, terminologies, equations, and numerical solutions.
  • Identify and correct grammatical, formatting, and structural issues in content.
  • Ensure content follows the board-specific pedagogy, exam patterns, and learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with writers and editors to ensure timely delivery of clean, accurate material.
  • Maintain documentation and version control for all reviewed files.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a related discipline (B.Ed. is a plus).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or proofreading academic content aligned with CBSE or ICSE/ISC boards.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum frameworks and Physics pedagogy for school-level education.
  • Excellent command of English with strong proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver within set deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with educational publishers or EdTech companies.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Word (track changes), Google Docs, PDF annotators, etc.
