About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, regression and classification modeling, and time series forecasting. The role focuses on designing anddeploying data-driven models that power business revenue insights and predictions. You will work on large datasets to uncover patterns, build robust models, and deliver interpretable and production-ready ML solutions using Databricks, Azure/AWS, and Docker. Experience with data analytics using Power BI is an added advantage.Role & responsibilities
Core Skills (Must Have)
- Strong programming skills in Machine-Learning (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, statsmodels).
- Proven experience with classification and regression modeling (Linear/Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, etc.).
- Deep understanding of forecasting techniques (ARIMA, SARIMA, Prophet, ensemble- based forecasting).
- Hands-on experience in EDA, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Experience working in Databricks or similar big data environments.
- Proficiency in Azure ML or AWS services for model deployment.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
- Strong understanding of evaluation metrics and model interpretability techniques (SHAP, feature importance).
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning).
- Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, and Azure AI Services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.
- Ability to design and deploy AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
