Job Title: Site Supervisor Construction

Job Summary

The Site Supervisor oversees daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating workers, managing materials, enforcing safety protocols, and liaising with engineers, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-site activities to ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Monitor workforce productivity, assign tasks, and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure safety compliance by enforcing health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
  • Inspect work quality and ensure it meets design specifications and standards.
  • Maintain site documentation, including daily logs, attendance, and progress reports.
  • Report project updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Handle emergencies or delays, adjusting schedules and resources as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience: 3–8 years in site supervision or construction project coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and basic project management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Certifications: Safety training (e.g., OSHA), first aid, or site management certifications preferred.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, site-based role.
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions and construction hazards.
