Position: MEP Engineer

Location: Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College Hostel Building, RK Christian Cemetery Rd, Sangamvadi, Pune

Role Overview

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across building projects. The role demands technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to ensure smooth execution of services within cost, time, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review MEP designs, drawings, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes.
  • Coordinate MEP works with structural and architectural teams to avoid clashes.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for technical approvals.
  • Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Conduct site inspections for progress, quality, and safety compliance.
  • Monitor project schedules and resolve site issues.
  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of systems.
  • Prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
  • Support procurement and vendor selection.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and BMS systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera (preferred).
  • Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or related field).
  • 37 years of experience in MEP works within civil/building construction projects.
  • Familiarity with local codes, standards, and statutory regulations.
