Role - Full Time

Experience - 2 years and above

Salary - Rs 50,000 - Rs 60,000 per month

Need to have your own laptop.

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester and Documenter to ensure the quality and usability of our software products. This dual-role position involves testing software applications for bugs and performance issues, as well as creating clear, user-friendly documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

A)  Software Testing

1.     Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated).

2.     Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

3.     Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.

4.     Collaborate with developers to understand features and resolve issues.

5.     Validate fixes and ensure software meets quality standards before release.

6.     Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide QA input.

B)   Documentation

1.     Create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and API documentation.

2.     Work with developers and product managers to understand features and workflows.

3.     Translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content.

4.     Maintain version control of documentation using tools like Git or Confluence.

5.     Ensure documentation aligns with branding and usability standards.

C)   Required Skills & Qualifications

1.     Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

3.     Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, TestRail).

4.     Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

5.     Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

6.     Ability to work remotely, independently and manage multiple tasks.

7.     Experience with automation frameworks

8.     Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

9.     Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, DITA, Sphinx).

10.  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
