Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Coding Trainer at Shiash Info Solutions, based in Chennai. The Medical Coding Trainer will be responsible for delivering training programs in medical coding, conducting assessments, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, coding standards, and industry regulations. Additional responsibilities include developing training materials, ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines, and mentoring trainees to achieve professional excellence in medical coding.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Medical Coding and Medical Terminology
  • Proficiency in Coding Experience and Health Information Management
  • Certification or knowledge in RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with trainees
  • Prior experience as a medical coding trainer or in a similar role is highly desirable
  • A bachelor's degree or relevant certification in a related field is preferred
