Position: Warehouse Manager

Location: 56/11, Garthi Khurd, Bakoli, Alipur, New Delhi – 110036

Type: Full-time, On-site (Residential Quarters Available)

Reporting To: Head – Operations and Accounts (Head Office, Sector 23, Dwarka)

Objective

To manage and oversee the complete operations of the warehouse — including goods receipt, dispatch, stock and quality control, staff supervision, and daily reporting — ensuring smooth and accurate functioning of all activities at the Alipur facility.

Key Responsibilities1. Goods Receipt and Dispatch

  • Supervise the inward and outward movement of goods on a daily basis.
  • Verify quantities, product codes, packaging, and physical condition of received goods.
  • Ensure every dispatch is properly documented with invoices, challans, and transporter slips.
  • Coordinate with transporters, store managers, and the head office for dispatch planning.

2. Stock Management and Inventory Control

  • Maintain daily inward, outward, and closing stock records accurately.
  • Conduct weekly physical stock verification and match with ERP/Excel data.
  • Immediately report any shortages, damages, or mismatches in stock.
  • Organize storage systematically by category and SKU, following the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.

3. Quality and Process Control

  • Perform routine quality checks on all received and outgoing goods.
  • Inspect packaging, labeling, expiry dates, and product condition (especially for grains, dry fruits, and masalas).
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the warehouse premises.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is suitable for product preservation.

4. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain complete and up-to-date records of inward/outward registers, gate passes, bills, and challans.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for verification of purchase entries and stock reconciliation.
  • Prepare and submit daily dispatch summaries, damage reports, and stock statements.
  • Ensure timely data entry and accuracy in ERP or Excel systems.

5. Team Management and Supervision

  • Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, loaders, and accountants.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor progress.
  • Maintain team discipline, punctuality, and accountability.
  • Conduct weekly safety and efficiency meetings for performance improvement.

6. Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with the procurement, accounts, and sales departments.
  • Report operational issues, shortages, or damage immediately to the Head Office.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports:
  • Daily: Dispatch and stock reports
  • Weekly: Stock verification and variance summary
  • Monthly: Comprehensive warehouse performance report

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor in a warehouse or distribution setup.
  • Strong operational and managerial skills in inventory control, logistics, and team handling.
  • Experience with Excel or ERP-based inventory systems.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and responsible professional attitude.

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
