Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Lead with over 6 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and drive end-to-end data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with ETL tools, cloud platforms, and data warehousing best practices. This role involves both hands-on development and leading a small team to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust, scalable ETL workflows for processing both structured and unstructured data.
  • Architect and deliver complete data warehousing solutions for enterprise-grade systems.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance throughout all ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define data integration strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance for scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of ETL developers, ensuring adherence to coding and design standards.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
  • Expertise in ETL tools such as Matillion, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, ADF, or AWS Glue.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Scala for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, ADF, or AWS Step Functions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in leading or mentoring a development team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization of ETL workflows.
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Azure Event Hub.
  • Familiarity with metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage tracking.
  • Experience with data security and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
  • Certifications in ETL tools, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP are a plus.
