Our client, a global healthcare company, is looking for a highly skilled SAP PP/QM Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP Quality Management (QM) module, preferably within S/4HANA environments. The consultant will be responsible for leading design, configuration, implementation, and support activities for PP and QM processes, while ensuring seamless integration with related SAP modules.

This role demands both technical depth and functional expertise, including strong capabilities in configuration, business process analysis, system integration, and stakeholder management.

This is a contractual position, working in the client's preferred EU time-zone (Offshore). The initial contract will run from September through the end of 2025, with a strong possibility of extension into

Role
  • Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP and QM modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Configure PP submodules including Discrete Manufacturing, PP-PI, Variant Configuration, and SFC (Production Orders).
  • Configure QM processes such as quality planning, inspection, results recording, quality notifications, defect management, and quality certificates.
  • Develop and review functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with ABAP/development teams.
  • Execute and support data migration activities with data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support for PP/QM solutions.
  • Document test scripts, manage defect resolution, and ensure system stability pre- and post-go-live.
  • Support compliance requirements such as GMP/ISO standards where applicable.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis workshops with business stakeholders to identify needs and propose solutions.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain, manufacturing, and quality workflows.
  • Recommend process automation opportunities and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with teams across MM, WM, IM, PM, APO, MES, and LIMS to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support global rollouts and ensure standardization of business processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions.
  • Lead onshore/offshore teams in project delivery and global rollouts.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support for PP and QM modules.
  • Mentor junior consultants and foster knowledge sharing within the team


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of ERP experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP and QM configuration & implementation.
Strong proficiency in:
  • SAP PP: Discrete Manufacturing, Process Manufacturing (PP-PI), Variant Configuration, APO-PPDS.
  • SAP QM: Quality Planning, Inspection, Results Recording, Notifications, Certificates, Audit Management.
  • Experience in SAP Best Practices and global system implementations.
  • Hands-on experience integrating PP/QM with MES systems, LIMS, WM, IM, and APO.
  • Basic understanding of ABAP debugging and ability to work with technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
