Context:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with 5–10 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering complex technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical delivery, produce scalable, secure architectures, and guide engineering teams through implementation. This role requires strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.

Missions/Main Duties:

• Work with stakeholders (product, engineering, operations, sales, customers) to gather and translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs.
• Define architecture for new systems and enhancements — including application architecture, integration patterns, data flows, deployment topology, and non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security).
• Produce architecture artifacts: solution blueprints, sequence and component diagrams, API contracts, integration plans, and deployment diagrams.
• Select and justify technology choices (cloud platforms, frameworks, middleware, databases, messaging, API gateways) aligned to organizational standards and cost/performance goals.
• Drive proof-of-concepts and evaluate third-party products, open-source libraries, and vendor offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during design and implementation; participate in design reviews and code reviews where appropriate.
• Define migration strategies for legacy systems (phased migration, strangler pattern, coexistence strategies).
• Establish and enforce best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security by design).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to define deployment, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory/security requirements and perform risk assessments for solutions.
• Track project architecture decisions and maintain architecture decision records (ADRs).
• Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Profile/Skills:

• 5–10 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions (web/mobile/cloud, integrations).
• Strong understanding of system design concepts: microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture, API design (REST/gRPC), data modeling, and caching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) including compute, storage, networking, managed databases, and serverless options.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with databases (relational and NoSQL), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and API gateways.
• Solid understanding of security principles: authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), encryption, secure coding practices, and common compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, GDPR as applicable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; experience presenting technical concepts to executives and customers
